ServiceNow Administrator
Modis are currently working in partnership with a FTSE 100 company to recruit a talented and experience ServiceNow Administrator to be based in Northampton.
The Role
The purpose of Servicenow Administrator is to have overall responsibility for the Servicenow system and its processes. The primary role of the Servicenow Administrator is to be the custodian and guardian of LogIT.
Accountabilities:
*Build workflows
*Build and maintain Service Catalogue within ServiceNow
*Users, Groups and Roles administration
*UI Policy & UI Actions administration
*Create and maintain client scripts (javascript)
*Troubleshoot and resolve any potential LogIT related issues
*Adhere to ServiceNow best practices (update sets, table relationships & alterations etc)
*Adhere to Travis Perkins Change Management principles to ensure the stability of the Development, Test and Production environments
*Develop clear and concise technical/process documentation
*Committed to results by taking personal responsibility for achieving mutually agreed upon individual/team objectives
*Is proactive, responsive and focused on anticipating future requirements and/or issues
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a confident individual to join a successful team, who is able to approach tasks methodically, adapt readily to changes and diplomatically question inconsistencies or accepted practices that could be improved.
Specification
*Previous experience with Servicenow
*Exposure to large resilient data centres
*JavaScript experience
*Experience in a role where it was necessary to be able to prioritise a range of different tasks, managing own time whilst keeping to a defined project plan
*Self motivated ability to initiate and complete tasks to deadlines
*Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with members of all IT teams
*ITIL V2 or V3 Foundation and an understanding of AGILE methodologies would be highly desirable.
Some travel to other sites will be necessary so the ability to drive and work outside of normal hours is essential.
