As the Senior Project Manager you will start, manage and finish product development projects, ensuring the deliverables are delivered in time, costs and quality level within agreed boundaries, in compliance with the Business Creation and Management (BCaM) Process.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage projects through steering our multi-site cross functional engineering team consisting of SW, FW and HW engineers. If required provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that sound engineering practices are followed.
• Organize all development activities, together with the allocated project team, from the definition phase until product release to full production.
• Execute your projects according to defined product development process (BCaM) and our way-of-working. Ensure compliance to configuration management system.
• Create, track and report progress on full scale project plans.
• Professional execution of risk and issue management.
• Drive close co-operations with customers (internal and external) and suppliers during the development project.
• Align with resource managers on resource / skills demand.
• Timely escalation of issues and risks to the project review board and taking responsibility to resolve project issues.
• Ensure compliance to product policies and guidelines, quality targets and NXP General Quality Specifications.

Automotive Innovation & Design Eindhoven, part of BU Automotive/CTO is a multidisciplinary team providing innovative design services. The market for in-vehicle networking is growing rapidly driven by the EE architectural evolution. Increasing performance, efficiency, integration and industrialization are changing the landscape of networks and its supply chain. Our client is the world’s undisputed leader of integrated circuits for in-vehicle networking, virtually every car produced in the world. For the segment Ethernet we are looking for the role of a Senior project lead to fulfill our ambition.

Functie-eisen

The Requirements of this position:

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering
• 7-10 years’ experience as a Project Manager in Semiconductor Industry
• Experience in leading multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams (team size > 50 people)
• Experience in hardware/software design and development of Ethernet systems is a strong plus.
• Experience of full product life-cycle management. From concept, introduction plan, development and test to customer introduction and maintenance.
• Technical understanding of System-on-Chip architectures including digital-, analogue- and software design
• Knowledge of embedded systems, hardware/ IC design, software development and testing.
• PMP certification is strong plus
• Pro-active, assertive attitude, flexible and result driven
• "Can do" attitude. Open minded and creative.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Additional

Lead’s will provide the necessary input on a technical level, but you need to be able to understand their business. Therefore, experience in the semicon industry is a must. Automotive experience is a plus. Experienced with stakeholder management on VP level is must.

The candidate needs to be able to jump into a project that’s already been started. NXP experience is a big plus.
